Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Information Security Consultant / Expert with strong expertise in Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) to support information security governance, risk management, compliance, audits, and security initiatives within a government or regulated environment.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in information security, strong knowledge of international and UAE-specific security standards, and the ability to engage with senior management and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities & Skills
Information Security & GRC
- 12–15+ years of experience in Information Security, with strong GRC expertise.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST, PCI-DSS, NESA / UAE IA Standards and SIA.
- Experience in risk assessments, control reviews, security audits, and compliance programs.
- Strong understanding of information security governance and risk management frameworks.
Security Operations & Risk Management
- Hands-on experience coordinating incident response and working closely with SOC teams.
- Strong experience in third-party / vendor security risk assessments.
- Ability to translate technical security risks into clear business terms for senior management.
- Experience supporting security initiatives, compliance requirements, and stakeholder management.
Required Certifications
Candidates with the following certifications are preferred:
- CISSP / CISM / CRISC
- ISO 27001 Lead Auditor / Lead Implementer
- CISA / CEH
- Relevant cloud security certifications
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Master’s degree is an advantage.
- Experience Criteria: 15+ years with a Bachelor’s degree or 12+ years with a Master’s/Doctorate.
Advantageous Skills & Experience
- Prior experience within UAE government, semi-government, or regulated banking / financial environments.
- Familiarity with Azure / AWS / GCP security.
- Knowledge of security-related change management.
- Experience working with senior stakeholders in complex regulatory environments.
